Suzie is a registered nurse with 15 years of health-care experience. Working as an licensed practical nurse, she discovered her passion for bedside nursing and pursued an RN degree, which she received in 1998 from Pensacola Junior College. While working as an RN on multiple med-surg and specialty care units, Suzie began to feel burdened for her fellow nurses and realized that there was both a need and an opportunity to serve them community wide. In 2006 Suzie founded One Love Nursing Ministries, an inter-faith, Christ-centered ministry purposed to encourage and support the nursing community. Today, Suzie is currently an ER nurse at a local hospital in Pensacola. She has been married for 19 years to her husband, Michael, and they have three grown children. The Farthings are members of Liberty Church-North Campus, Pensacola, FL.

Lydia graduated in 2007 from the University of West Florida with a bachelor of science degree in Nursing. After graduation, Lydia worked at a local hospital as an oncology nurse where her love for Jesus was easily recognized by her fellow workers, including OLNM president, Suzie Farthing. This friendship quickly developed, and in 2008, Lydia joined OLNM. With this union came a flood of vision and enthusiasm for the ministry, and in 2009 Lydia developed the MERGE Mentorship Program for student nurses, which will take off Fall 2010. Currently, Lydia is working as an interventional radiology nurse at a local hospital and lives in the Pensacola area with her husband, Justin.
